Based on a scientific breakthrough, MAX is our professional line of water m iscible oil colors. MAX paints dilute and can be cleaned-up using water ins tead of conventional solvents. 60 colors, 1.25 fluid ounce (37ml) tubes are available.

MAX's forumula is based on a patented scientific breakthrough that slightly alters the molecular structure of oil paint. This makes it easy to clean w ith soap and water, without changing any of the other characteristics of fi ne quality oils. Along with all the benefits of a conventional oil color, M AX provides the distinct advantage of being water-thinnable. Tests show tha t a painting done with conventional oil colors, provided that the basic pri nciples of oil painting are followed.

Simple to use.

Use as you would any fine oil paint, except when cleaning up, simply replac e turpentine or petroleum solvents with water. Mix it with conventional oil paints and mediums, and if you use 2 parts MAX to 1 part conventional oil, you can still clean up with soap and water. Use it with traditional surfac es, varnishes, tools and brushes. Use water to thin, but add sparingly, jus t as you would any solvent. Like any fine oil paint, MAX is not to be mixed with acrylics or watercolors. Paintings made with MAX should be varnished just like conventional oil paintings.
